LCL CONSOLIDATION (NVOCC)
We manage the vast majority of shipments end-to-end: our network of own-managed facilities and offices allows us to maintain control of processes and ensure consistently high service standards. Our processes allow us to interface seamlessly with customers’ existing program, meaning that Vanguard’s reach can be used to complement large freight forwarder’s own networks and extend the reach of smaller operators – flexibly and efficiently.
FCL (FULL CONTAINER LOAD)
Consolidators’ FCL (full container loads) shipping service allows you to send large shipments to more than 68 countries worldwide. Our centralized purchasing and capacity management has negotiated space allotments and optimum pricing with major carriers worldwide to ensure the highest quality of FCL shipping service. All partner carriers maintain EDI messaging to transmit freight status updates, transfer shipping documentation and streamline bookings.
FORWARDING & CUSTOM CLEARANCE
With updated customs regulations and procedures we handle clearance of import and export consignments by sea, air and road more efficiently and easily. Our main services in custom clearing services include advice to the clients in preparing documents related to import and export, completion of appraisement and examination procedures and payments. After the custom formalities are completed we deliver the consignments to the said destination as per our clients’ needs.
TRUCKING / CROSSBORDER
Our “cross-border” services allow you to smoothly transport cargo by land to neighboring countries and regions. Although the free trade movement accelerates abolition and reduction of many tariffs as part of economic globalization, it does not get any easier to establish a borderless supply chain, even where markets are connected by land. In order to achieve stable operations, it is critical to design optimal transportation models and to have them evolve continuously, by paying close attention to the latest customs and traffic regulations as well as local road and traffic conditions.
DG CARGO/ CONTAINER HANDLING
Transporting Dangerous Cargo requires the highest amount of expertise in the market. We gained this experience during decades of transporting all kinds of Dangerous cargo and other kinds of special equipment. We have special offices dedicated to help and guide you through the various stages of transporting your DG cargo.
Each DG booking is closely checked before accepting for loading on board. In order to enable us to give you our best service we need to receive from you all the required information and the relevant documentation.
AIRFREIGHT
Our purchasing power and partnerships with some of the world’s premier air carriers enable us to deliver the space allocation, on-time performance and range of products you need. With direct access to all prime capacities, including split and full charter options, your air cargo not only gets to the right place at the right time—it gets the right treatment every step of the way. They are on-site and on-call in major air freight hubs, day and night, taking care of your pick-up and export handling, advanced cargo handling, advanced security measurements and capacity assurance.
STORAGE & PACKING
In addition to the services above Vantage Logistic are able to supply a “total package” for companies looking for distribution partners for their related products such as fuel additives and oils, agricultural and horticultural chemicals, feed products and chemical or food related items. We have the capability to take product from production plant to consumer’s door using our comprehensive and experienced Supply Chain Team. Alternatively we can offer any separate part of the logistics solution customers require.
FUMIGATION
Commercial operations such as shopping malls, offices, services and manufacturing sites need high standards of cleanliness and sanitations. Customers react very negatively to business premises found with pests. The manufacturing sectors especially the food industry in particular need to comply with high standards of cleanliness wherever foodstuffs are produced, stored or processed. Food preparations in kitchens and catering facilities poses a challenge and pest cannot be tolerated as it could have serious consequences to the health of customers.
CROSSTRADE ARRANGEMENT
Our cross trades teams support our full range of containerised freight services, in particular dry cargo, refrigerated cargo (reefers), out-of-gauge, precious and hazardous cargo. Our teams provide a comprehensive service that includes competitive pricing, securing bookings, documentation handling, tracking facilities and pre/on carriage arrangements. This means that wherever your cargo is traveling to or from, you’ll have a dedicated team supporting you, locally.
MARINE INSURANCE
Importers and exporters are exposed to countless financial risks when they do not insure their international shipments. Trying to recover losses from carriers is difficult and time consuming, and is unlikely to cover the true associated cost due to carrier’s limited liability and package limitation clauses. “All Risks” insurance relieves companies of their financial exposure from physical loss or damage to their goods while in transit, since carriers have limited liability. The best way to protect your financial interest is with the appropriate marine insurance coverage.
